’08 Aug 16 I saw an ad in the local newspaper that a psychic fair was being held this weekend in a neighboring town and I felt drawn to attend. It wasn’t at all what I expected as it was a small gathering of some 12-15 medians, fortune tellers, palm and tarot card readers along with a woman selling crystals and some jewelry and another woman selling books, I did a quick scan of her selection and recognized that I had owned a good 20-25% of the books she was selling, that I got rid of 6 years ago. There was also a man doing electronic astrology and another doing Kirillian photography. There was nothing there that hasn’t been hacked up and chewed over for the last 25 years or so.
What did surprise me was the amount of men at the fair. I’d say that about 40% of the “customers” were men of all ages. In previous years, like two years ago in Moncton, NB. there were only between 5 – 10% men in the crowd, so the times they are a changing.
